MEET HAYLEY
I’m Hayley Winter (BWY Dip, ERYT-500, YACEP), founder of the Institute of Yoga Sports Science (YSS) and co-founder of the School of Yoga Sequencing.
With nearly 30 years’ experience as a yoga educator and Yoga Sports Scientist, I specialize in sport-specific yoga, biomechanics, and movement science, supported by a Master’s education in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics.
I’ve been pioneering evidence-based online yoga education since 2009 and co-developed a research methodology (with Dr Maggie Bunting) that enabled yoga teachers to work with real performance data from athletes over seven years of case-study research.
My work in sports-specific yoga was featured on the Olympic Channel on International Yoga Day 2025 - a reflection of decades bridging yoga and sport.
Through this course and my monthly mentorship, I look forward to guiding you to apply this work with clarity, confidence, and real-world relevance.
