Hayley Winter, Founder of The Institute of Yoga Sports Science®
Hayley has been specializing in sport‑specific yoga for over two decades. Yoga Sports Science began in 2001, when she first started integrating yoga into football environments.
In 2005, Sir Clive Woodward brought Hayley into the medical team at Southampton F.C. It was during this time that she began working with Gareth Bale and the squad, developing football‑specific yoga to support performance, recovery and injury prevention.
Her work in sport‑specific yoga has since been featured on the Olympic Channel, highlighting the role of evidence‑based yoga in athletic performance.
Hayley is co‑founder of the School of Yoga Sequencing and now teaches and mentors yoga teachers around the world, helping them apply movement science to support the art of sequencing.
