HOW THE COURSE IS DELIVERED

Course Dates:
Start: Saturday, March 21st, 2026
End: Saturday, May 23rd, 2026

You'll have an additional 3 months after the course ends to review and enjoy the material at your leisure. 

Course Structure:
Every week, new course material will be automatically released, guiding you through the syllabus step by step over a 3-month period.

Learn at Your Own Pace:
You can choose to follow the weekly course structure or take your time and study at your own pace. From the course start date, you’ll have 6 months to complete your studies.

Study from Home:
This course is 100% online, with four live, interactive sessions led by Hayley. Don’t worry if you can’t attend a session - everything is recorded for you to access later. You'll have 24/7 access to all the material, so you can study whenever it suits you best.

MEET HAYLEY

Hayley Winter (BWY Dip, ERYT-500, YACEP ) is the founder of the Institute of Yoga Sports Science (YSS) and co-founder of the School of Yoga Sequencing. With almost 30 years’ experience as a yoga educator and Yoga Sports Scientist, she specialises in sport-specific yoga, biomechanics, and movement science.

Hayley holds a Master’s education in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics and uniquely blends scientific rigour with creativity, informed by her background in animation. Since pioneering online yoga education in 2009, she has been at the forefront of evidence-based teacher training.

In 2010, alongside Dr Maggie Bunting, Hayley developed a research methodology enabling yoga teachers to collect and interpret data from athletes. Over seven years, YSS conducted extensive case-study research exploring yoga’s impact on athletic performance, contributing significantly to the field.

Hayley is the author of the Yoga Sports Science syllabus and co-creator of The Yoga Sequencing Solution.

Hayley is passionate about empowering teachers with scientific insight - bridging the ancient art of yoga with modern sports and exercise science.
